TheKeyFoboperatestheignitionswitch.Italsocontains
the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and an
emergencykey,whichstoresintherearoftheKeyFob.      2
The emergency key allows for entry into the vehicle on
thedriver’ssideshouldthebatteryinthevehicleorthe
RKEtransmittergodead.Theemergencykeyisalsofor
lockingtheglovebox.Youcankeeptheemergencykey
withyouwhenvaletparking.
NOTE: Enteringavehicleusingtheemergencykeywith
thetheftalarmarmed,willresultinthealarmsounding.
InserttheKeyFob(eveniftheKeyFobbatteryisdead)
intotheWINtodisarmtheftalarm.
