deploymentcouldcausesevereinjuryordeathto
infantsinthisposition.
Improper installation can lead to failure of an
infantorchildrestraint.Itcouldcomelooseinan
accident. The child could be badly injured or
killed. Follow the manufacturer’s directions ex-
actlywheninstallinganinfantorchildrestraint.
Arearward-facinginfantrestraintshouldonlybe
used in a rear seat. A rearward-facing infant re-
straintinthefrontseatmaybestruckbyadeploy-
ing passenger airbag which may cause severe or
fatalinjurytotheinfant.
