CAUTION!

Damage to the transmission may occur if the trans-

missionisshiftedintoPARKwiththetransfercasein

NEUTRAL (N) and the engine running. With the

transfercaseinNEUTRAL(N)ensurethattheengine

isoffpriortoshiftingthetransmissionintoPARK.

• _forThe_aignition_shifttoswitch_takeplacemust_andbein_forthe_theON/RUN_{positionindicator}position

lightstobeoperable.Iftheignitionswitchisnotinthe

ON/RUNposition,theshiftwillnottakeplaceandno

positionindicatorlightswillbeonorflashing.
