Leaving the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system
onwhennotinuseisdangerous.Youcouldacciden-
tallysetthesystemorcauseittogofasterthanyou
want. You could lose control and have an accident.
Alwaysleavethesystemoffwhenyouarenotusing
it.
ToSetaDesiredACCSpeed
When the vehicle reaches the speed desired, push the
SET - button and release. The EVIC will display the set
speed.
ACCSet
Removeyourfootfromtheacceleratorpedal.Ifyoudo
not,thevehiclemaycontinuetoacceleratebeyondtheset
speed.Ifthisoccurs:

The message “DRIVER OVERRIDE” will display in
theEVIC.
