of30minutesofcityandhighway
drivingisnecessaryasdescribed
below:

First,atleast10minutesof
drivingonanexpresswayor
highway.
•
Next,atleast20minutesdriving
instopĆandĆgo,cityĆtypetraffic
withatleastfouridleperiods.
Allowthevehicletositforatleast
eighthourswithoutstartingthe
engine.Then,starttheengineand
completetheabovedrivingcycle.
Theenginemustwarmuptoits
normaloperatingtemperature.
Oncestarted,donotturnoffthe
engineuntiltheabovedrivingcycle
iscomplete.
