Removeanysnow,iceorleaves
fromtheairintakearea(atthe
bottomofthewindshieldunderthe
hood).

Ifthevehiclehasbeenparked
withthewindowsclosedduringhot
weather,theairconditionerwilldo
amuchfasterjobofcoolingifyou
drivefortwoorthreeminuteswith
thewindowsopen.Thiswillforce
mostofthehot,staleairoutofthe
vehicle.

Whenplacingobjectsontopof
yourinstrumentpanel,becareful
tonotplacethemoverthe
defrosteroutlets.Theseobjectscan
blocktheairflowandreduceyour
abilitytoseethroughthe
windshield.Also,avoidplacing
smallobjectsontopofyour
instrumentpanel.Theseobjects
canfallintothedefrosteroutlets
andblockairflowandpossibly
damageyourclimatecontrol
system.
Donotplaceobjectsontop
oftheinstrumentpanel,as
theseobjectsmaybecome
projectilesinacollisionorsudden
stop.
