maybemalfunctioning.Thelight
mayilluminatewithouta
driveabilityconcernbeingnoted.
Thevehiclewillusuallybe
driveableandwillnotrequire
towing.
withgoodqualityfueland/or
properlyinstallingandsecurely
tighteningthegascap.Afterthree
drivecycleswithouttheseorany
othertemporarymalfunctions
present,theCheckenginelight
shouldturnoff.(Adrivingcycle
consistsofacoldenginestartup
followedbymixedcity/highway
driving).Noadditionalvehicle
serviceisrequired.
What you should do if the check
engine light illuminates
