JackLocation
The jack and lug wrench are stored und er the front
passenger seat. The jack hand le driver and jack extension
are located in a kit that is stored on the floor board to the
right of the front passenger seat. On som e models, this
tool kit is und er the carp eting in the sam e location.

Getting under a jacked-up vehicle is dangerous.
Thevehiclecouldslipoffthejackandfallonyou.
Youcouldbecrushed.Nevergetanypartofyour
bodyunderavehiclethatisonajack.Ifyouneed
to get under a raised vehicle, take it to a service
centerwhereitcanberaisedonalift.
To rem ove the jack from its stow age position, carefu lly
release the rubber strap from the bracket. Turn the thu mb
screw counterclockw ise to loosen jack and then rem ove it
from the bracket.
Thejackisdesignedtouseasatoolforchanging
tiresonly.Thejackshouldnotbeusedtoliftthe
vehicle for service purposes. The vehicle should
bejackedonafirmlevelsurfaceonly.Avoidiceor
slipperyareas.
