the  cables must  be  disconnected   in the  follow ing  ord er:
After the  engine  is started  or if the engine  fails to  start,

Anyprocedureotherthanabovecouldresultin:
a.  Disconnect  the  negative  cable at  the engine  grou nd .

outthebatteryvent.
b.  Disconnect  the negative   cable at the  negative  term i-
nal  on the  booster  battery.
Personalinjuryorpropertydamageduetobattery
explosion.
c.  Disconnect  the  cable from  the  positive  term inals  of
both  batteries.
Damagetochargingsystemofboostervehicleor
ofimmobilizedvehicle.
TOWINGADISABLEDVEHICLE
The  manu  factu rer  recom mend s  tow ing  with   all   four
wheels  off the grou nd . Accep table method s are to tow the
vehicle  on a flatbed  or with  one  end of  the vehicle  raised
and  the  other  end on  a tow ing  dolly.
