heighttofitunderthejacking
notches.Positionthejack
accordingtothefollowing
guidesandturnthejackhandle
clockwiseuntilthetireisa
maximumof1inch(25mm)off
theground.
Neverusethedifferentialsasa
jackingpoint.
WARNING: Tolessentherisk
ofpersonalinjury,donotput
anypartofyourbodyunder
thevehiclewhilechanginga
tire.Donotstarttheengine
whenyourvehicleisonthe
jack.Thejackisonlymeant
forchangingthetire.

Removethelugnutswiththelugnutwrench.
Replacetheflattirewiththesparetire,makingsurethevalvestem
isfacingoutward.Reinstalllugnutsuntilthewheelissnugagainst
thehub.Donotfullytightenthelugnutsuntilthewheelhasbeen
lowered.

Lowerthewheelbyturningthejackhandlecounterclockwise.
Removethejackandfully

tightenthelugnutsintheorder
shown.RefertoWheellugnut
torquespecificationslaterin
thischapterfortheproperlug
nuttorquespecification.
