TheBeltMinderfeatureisasupplementalwarningtothesafetybelt

lampintheinstrumentclusterwhenthedriver’sandfrontpassenger’s
safetybeltisunbuckled.
TheBeltMinderfeatureusesinformationfromthepassengeroccupant
classificationsensortodetermineifafrontseatpassengerispresentand
thereforepotentiallyinneedofawarning.Toavoidactivatingthe
BeltMinderfeatureforobjectsplacedinthefrontpassengerseat,
warningswillonlybegiventolargefrontseatoccupantsasdetermined
bythepassengeroccupantclassificationsensor.
