andreleasetolockallthedoors.Assumingallvehicledoors
andtheliftgateareproperlyclosed,thepark/turnlampswillflash
onceandtheperimeteralarm(ifequipped)willstartthearming
process.Formoreinformationconcerningtheperimeteralarm,refer
toPerimeteralarmsystem(ifequipped)laterinthischapter.

Press
andreleaseagainwithinthreesecondstoconfirmthatall
thedoorsandliftgateareclosedandlocked.Note:Thedoorswill
lockagain,andthehornwillchirponce.
Ifanyofthedoorsorthehoodarenotproperlyclosed,thehornwill
chirptwiceandpark/turnlampswillnotflashwhenthe
pressed.

Soundingapanicalarm
Press
toactivatethealarm.Todeactivatethefeature,pressthe
controlagain,turntheignitiontothe3(RUN)or4(START)position,or
waitforthealarmtotimeoutinapproximately3minutes.
Note:Thepanicalarmwillonlyoperatewhentheignitionisinthe1
(OFF/LOCK)or2(ACCESSORY)position.
Replacingthebattery
Theremoteentrytransmitterusesonecointypethree-voltlithium
batteryCR2032orequivalent.
Toreplacethebattery:
1.
Twistathincoinbetweenthe
twohalvesoftheremoteentry
transmitternearthekeyring.
