Illuminated exit

Theinteriorlightswillilluminatewhenthekeyisremovedfromthe
ignition.
Thelampsautomaticallyturnoffafter25seconds.Thedomeandcargo
lampcontrolsmustnotbesettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminated
exitsystemtooperate.
SECURILOCKி PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM
SecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisanengineimmobilization
system.Thissystemisdesignedtohelppreventtheenginefrombeing
startedunlessacodedkeyprogrammedtoyourvehicleisused.
TheSecuriLock௢passiveanti-theftsystemisnotcompatiblewith
non-Mazdaaftermarketremotestartsystems.Useofthesesystemsmay
resultinvehiclestartingproblemsandalossofsecurityprotection.
Yourvehiclecomeswithtwocodedkeys;additionalcodedkeysmaybe
purchasedfromyourdealer.Thedealercanprogramyoursparekeysto
yourvehicleoryoucanprogramthekeysyourself.Referto
Programmingsparekeysforinstructionsonhowtoprogramthecoded
key.
Note:Amaximumofeightkeyscanbecodedtoyourvehicle.
Note:Largemetallicobjects,electronicdevicesthatareusedto
purchasegasolineorsimilaritems,orasecondcodedkeyonthesame
keychainmaycausevehiclestartingissues.Youneedtopreventthese
objectsfromtouchingthecodedkeywhilestartingtheengine.These
objectswillnotcausedamagetothecodedkey,butmaycausea
momentaryissueiftheyaretooclosetothekeywhenstartingthe
engine.Ifaproblemoccurs,turntheignitionoff,removeallobjectson
thekeychainawayfromthecodedkeyandrestarttheengine.
Theft indicator
Thetheftindicatorislocatedinthe
instrumentcluster.

Whentheignitionisinthe1(OFF/LOCK)position,the             THEFT
indicatorwillflashonceevery2secondstoindicatetheSecuriLock௢
systemisfunctioningasatheftdeterrent.
Whentheignitionisinthe3(RUN)position,the            THEFT indicatorwill
glowfor3seconds,thenturnofftoindicatenormalsystem
functionality.
