andmarkan8foot(2.4meter)horizontalreferencelineonthe
verticalwallorscreenatthisheight(apieceofmaskingtapeworks
well).Thecenterofthelampismarkedbya3.0mmcircleonthe
headlamplens.

Turnonthelowbeamheadlampstoilluminatethewallorscreen
andopenthehood.Covertheleft-handheadlampwithanopaque
cloth.
Onthewallorscreenyouwill
observealightpatternwitha
distincthorizontaledgeofhigh
intensitylighttowardstheright.
Ifthisedgeisnotatthe
horizontalreferenceline,the
beamwillneedtobeadjusted.

Locatetheverticaladjusteron
theheadlamp,thenusea7mm
hexsocketorT20Torxdriver
toturntheadjustereither
counterclockwise(toadjust
down)orclockwise(toadjust
up)aligningtheupperedgeof
thelightpatternuptothe
horizontalline.Aftermarket
photometricaimersarenot
recommendedforuseonMazda
vehicles.

Movetheopaqueclothtocovertheright-handheadlampandrepeat
steps4and5fortheleft-handheadlamp.
Closethehoodandturnoffthelamps.
HORIZONTALAIMISNOTREQUIREDFORTHISVEHICLEANDIS
