vehicle.Theplugfortheblock
heaterisexposedinthefrontofthe
vehicle,beneaththegrille.Vehicles
equippedwithagasolineenginehavetheplugexposedonthedriver
sideofthevehicle;vehiclesequippedwithaDieselenginehavetheplug
exposedonthepassengersideofthevehicle.
Toreducetheriskofelectricalshock,donotuseyourheater
withungroundedelectricalsystemsortwo-pronged(cheater)
adapters.
BRAKES
Occasionalbrakenoiseisnormal.Ifametal-to-metal,continuousgrinding
orcontinuoussquealsoundispresent,thebrakeliningsmaybeworn-out
andshouldbeinspectedbyyourauthorizeddealer.Ifthevehiclehas
continuousvibrationorshudderinthesteeringwheelwhilebraking,the
vehicleshouldbeinspectedbyyourauthorizeddealer.

Four-wheel anti-lock brake system (ABS)
YourvehicleisequippedwithanAnti-lockBrakingSystem(ABS).This
systemhelpsyoumaintainsteeringcontrolduringemergencystopsby
keepingthebrakesfromlocking.NoisefromtheABSpumpmotorand
brakepedalpulsationmaybeobservedduringABSbrakingandthe
brakepedalmaysuddenlytravelalittlefartherassoonasABSbrakingis
doneandnormalbrakeoperationresumes.Thesearenormal
characteristicsoftheABSandshouldbenoreasonforconcern.
