UNDERSTANDINGTHEFEATURESOFYOURVEHICLE
Tomovethecrossbars,loosenthethumbscrewslocated
at the upper edge of each cross bar approximately six
turns, then move the cross bar to the desired position,
keepingthecrossbarsparalleltotherackframe.Oncethe
crossbarisinplace,retightenthethumbscrewstolock
thecrossbarintoposition.
Attempttomovethecrossbaragaintoensurethatithas
properlylockedintoposition.
NOTE: Tohelpcontrolwindnoisewheninstallingthe
crossbarsmakesurethatthearrowsmarkedonthefront
sideofthecrossbarsarefacingthefrontofthevehicle.
Also,whenthecrossbarsarenotinusethenotchonthe
crossbarsshouldbealignedwiththearrowsontheside
rails. This will help reduce the amount of wind noise
whenthecrossbarsarenotinuse.
RoofRack
Distributecargoweightevenlyontheroofrackcrossbars.
The roof rack does not increase the total load carrying
capacity of the vehicle. Be sure the total load of cargo
insidethevehicleplusthatontheexternalrackdoesnot
exceedthemaximumvehicleloadcapacity.
Thetiedownholesonthecrossbarendsshouldalways
beusedtotiedowntheload.Checkthestrapsfrequently
tobesurethattheloadremainssecurelyattached.
