Slide the Bass and/or Treble controls up or down to
adjustthesoundforthedesiredtone.Thetreble,andbass
will be displayed and continuously updated while the
slideismoved.

Balance
TheBalancecontroladjuststheleft-to-rightspeakerbal-
ance.Pushinthebuttonanditwillpopout.Adjustthe
balanceandpushthebuttonbackin.Thebalancewillbe
displayedandcontinuouslyupdatedwhilethebuttonis
turned.
AM/FMSelection
PresstheAM/FMbuttontochangefromAMtoFM.The
operating mode will be displayed next to the station
frequency. The display will show ST when a stereo
stationisreceived.
Fade
ScanButton
TheFadecontrolprovidesforbalancebetweenthefront
andrearspeakers.Pushinthebuttonanditwillpopout.
Adjustthebalanceandpushthebuttonbackin.Thefade
will be displayed and continuously updated while the
buttonisturned.
PressingtheSCANbuttoncausesthetunertosearchfor
the next station, in either AM or FM, pausing for 5
secondsateachlistenablestationbeforecontinuingtothe
next.
PressingtheAM/FMbuttoncontinuesthesearchinthe
alternatefrequencyband.
