THINGSTOKNOWBEFORESTARTINGYOURVEHICLE
PowerDoorLocks—IfEquipped
A power door lock switch is on each front door trim
panel.Usethisswitchtolockorunlockthedoors.
locks will not operate. This prevents you from acciden-
tallylockingyourkeysinthevehicle.Removingthekey
or closing the door will allow the locks to operate. A
chimewillsoundifthekeyisintheignitionswitchand
adoorisopen,asaremindertoremovethekey.
Ifyoupressthepowerdoorlockswitchwhilethesliding
doorisopen,theslidingdoorwilllock.
AutomaticDoorLocks—IfEquipped
If this feature is enabled, your door locks will lock
automaticallywhenthevehiclesspeedexceeds15mph.
AutomaticDoorLockProgramming
This feature is enabled when your vehicle is shipped
fromtheassemblyplantandcanbedisabledbyusingthe
followingprocedure:

Ifyoupressthepowerdoorlockswitchwhilethekeyis
in the ignition, and any front door is open, the power
