CAUTION!
Verify that ’both’ retainer tabs of the wheel spacer
have been properly extended through the center of
the wheel and spare tire cover assembly. Failure to
properly engage both retainer tabs could result in
loss of the spare tire & cover assembly, which will
causevehicledamageandmaycauselossofcontrol
ofthevehicle.
ForvehiclesequippedwithStow’nGoseating,the
WinchMechanismisdesignedspecificallytostowa
COMPACTSpareTireONLY.Donotattempttouse
the Winch to stow the Full Size ’Flat’ Tire, or any
otherFullSizeTire.Vehicledamagemayresult.

Usingthewinch“T”handle,rotatethedrivenuttothe
right until the compact spare tire/cover assembly is
drawnintoplaceagainsttheundersideofthevehicle.
Park the vehicle on a firm level surface, avoid ice or
slipperyareas,settheparkingbrakeandplacethegear
selectorinPARK.TurnOFFtheignition.
5.
Continuetorotatethenuttotherightuntilyouhear
the winch mechanism click three times. It cannot be
overtightened. Check under the vehicle to ensure the
compact spare tire/cover assembly is positioned cor-
rectlyagainsttheundersideofthevehicle.
