NOTE
Tocancelthetwo-stepdownfunctionfor
thefrontpowerwindows,carryoutthe
followingprocedureusingthemaster
controlswitches.
Ifthebatteryhadbeendisconnected
duringvehiclemaintenanceorforother
reasonssuchasaswitchiskept
operating,thepowerwindowswillnot
fullyopenandcloseautomatically.Re-
initializationoftheautomaticfunction
onthefrontpassenger'spowerwindow
cannotbeperformedusingthemaster
controlswitches.Carryoutthe

TurntheignitionswitchtotheON
positionandcompletethefollowing
procedurewithin5seconds:
Pressthepowerwindowswitch2times
firmly,thenpullit2timesfirmly.
followingprocedureoneachdoor
switchtoresumeoperation:
Master control switches
1.
2.
3.
TurntheignitionswitchtotheON
position.
Driver's
window
Presstheswitchandfullyopenthe
powerwindow.
Pulluptheswitchtofullyclosethe
powerwindowandcontinueholding
theswitchforabout2secondsafter
thewindowfullyclosed.
Front passenger's
window
Afterthesystemhasbeenre-initialized,
thefrontpassenger'spowerwindowcan
befullyopenedorclosedautomatically
usingthemastercontrolswitches.
2. TurntheignitionswitchtotheLOCK
position.
3.
WiththeignitionswitchintheLOCK
position,andwithin40seconds,turn
theignitionswitchtotheONposition
andcompletethefollowingprocedure
within5seconds:
Two-stepdownfunction
Withthepowerwindowcompletely
closed,presstheswitchlightlyanditwill
openandstopabout3cm(1in)fromthe
top.
Pressthepowerwindowswitch2times
firmly,thenpull2timesfirmly.
Ifyoucontinuetopressandholdthe
switch,thewindowwillresumeopening
alltheway.
NOTE
Pressingthepowerwindowswitchonce
whenthewindowisfullyclosedwill
onlyopenitabout3cm(1in)toallow
convenientventilationofthecabin.
