advancedkey,refertoStartingthe
Engine(page3-10).

key
Whenstartingtheenginewiththe
auxiliarykey,performthefollowing
procedure.

Removetheauxiliarykeyfromthe
advancedkey(page3-16).
Thesteeringwheellockstoprotect
againsttheft.Onlyinthispositioncanthe
keyberemoved.
MakesurethestartknobisinLOCK
position.
Removethestartknobbypullingit
outwardwhilepressingthebuttonson
boththeleftandrightsides.
WARNING
Removethekeyonlywhenthevehicle
isparked:
Removingthekeyfromtheignition
switchwhilethevehicleismovingis
dangerous.Removingthekeyallows
thesteeringwheeltolock.Youwill
losesteeringcontrolandaserious
accidentcouldoccur.
Beforeleavingthedriver'sseat,
alwayssettheparkingbrakeand
makesuretheshiftleverisinP:
Leavingthedriver'sseatwithout
settingtheparkingbrakeis
dangerous.Unexpectedvehicle
movementcouldoccuriftheparking
brakeisnotset.Thiscouldcausean
accident.
