damagedwhichcouldleadtoan
accidentorcouldevenleadto
overheating,oilleakage,andafire.
Thiswarninglightstaysonforafew
secondswhentheignitionswitchisturned
totheONposition.
Thereafter,thewarninglightwill
illuminateorflashunderthefollowing
conditions:

Illuminateswhenthereisan
abnormalitywiththeAWDsystem.

Flasheswhenthedifferentialoil
temperatureisabnormallyhigh.

largedifferencesbetweenfrontandrear
wheelrotation,suchaswhentryingto
pullawayfromanicysurface.
Tires
Whenreplacingtires,alwaysreplace

allfrontandreartiresatthesametime.
IftheAWDwarninglightilluminates:
Alltiresmustbeofthesamesize,

manufacture,brandandtreadpattern.
Payparticularattentionwhen
equippingsnoworothertypesof
wintertires.
IftheAWDwarninglightilluminates,
contactanAuthorizedMazdaDealer.
IftheAWDwarninglightflashes:
Parkthevehicleinasafeplace.Aftera
fewmoments;ifthewarninglightstops
flashing,youcanresumedriving.Ifthe
lightdoesnotstopflashing,contactan
AuthorizedMazdaDealer.
Donotmixtread-worntireswith
normaltires.

Inspecttireinflationpressuresatthe
specifiedperiodsandadjusttothe
specifiedpressures.

NOTE
Checkthetireinflationpressurelabel
attachedtodriver'sdoorframeforthe
correcttireinflationpressure.
