arenootherpassengers,rockthe
seatbacktomakesureitislockedin
place.

operatingtheremotehandleleversfor
therearseat:
Operatingtheremotehandlelevers
whilearear-facingchild-restraint
systemisintherearseatisdangerous.
Itcouldcauseinjurytoachildseated
inthechild-restraintsystemwhenthe
seatbacksuddenlyflipsforward.
Neverallowapassengertositorstand
onthefoldedseatbackwhilethe
vehicleismoving:
Drivingwithapassengeronthefolded
seatbackisdangerous.Allowinga
childtosituponthefoldedseatback
whilethevehicleismovingis
particularlydangerous.Inasudden
stoporevenaminorcollision,achild
notinaproperseatorchild-restraint
systemandseatbeltcouldbethrown
forward,backorevenoutofthe
vehicleresultinginseriousinjuriesor
death.Thechildinthebaggagearea
couldbethrownintootheroccupants
andcauseseriousinjury.
Makesurethereisnobodyintherear
seatareabeforeoperatingtheremote
handlelevers:
Notcheckingtherearseatareafor
personsbeforefoldingtheseatbacks
withtheremotehandleleversis
dangerous.Therearseatareais
difficulttoseefromtherearofthe
vehicle.Operatingtheremotehandle
leverswithoutcheckingcouldcause
injurytoapersonwhenaseatback
suddenlyflipsforward.
CAUTION
NOTE
Beforefoldingtheseatbackswiththe
remotehandlelevers,makesurethereis
nocupinarearcupholder.Foldingthe
seatbackswiththeremotehandlelevers
whileacupisinthecupholdercould
soilordamagetheseatbottomand
seatback.
Whenreturningarearseattoits
originalposition,alsoreplacetheseat
belttoitsnormalposition.Verifythat
theseatbeltpullsoutandretracts.
