switchisturnedfromtheONpositionto
theACCorLOCKposition.Thesecurity
indicatorlightintheinstrumentcluster
flashesevery2secondsuntilthesystemis
disarmed.

keyisplacedinanareawhereitis
difficultforthesystemtodetectthe
signal,suchasonthedashboard,or
intheglovebox.Movetheadvanced
keytoanotherplace,turnthe
ignitionswitchtotheLOCK
position,andthenrestarttheengine.
SignalsfromaTVorradiostation,or
fromatransceiveroramobile
telephonecouldinterferewithyour
immobilizersystem.Ifyouareusing
theproperadvancedkeyandthe
enginefailstostart,checkthe

Thesystemisdisarmedwhentheignition
switchisturnedtotheONpositionwith
theregisteredadvancedkey.
Thesecurityindicatorlightilluminatesfor
about3secondsandgoesout.

Ifthesecurityindicatorlightflashes
continuouslywhileyouaredriving,
don'tshutofftheengine.Gotoan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerandhave
itchecked.Iftheengineisshutoff
whiletheindicatorlightisflashing,
youwon'tbeabletorestartit.

whenrepairingtheimmobilizer
system,theadvancedkey(including
auxiliarykey)areneeded.Bringall
theadvancedkeys(including
auxiliarykeys)toanAuthorized
MazdaDealer.
