Theenginemaynotstartifthe
advancedkeyisplacedinthe
followingareas:
Aroundthedashboard

Inthestoragecompartmentssuch
l
astheglovebox
Startingtheenginemaybepossible
eveniftheadvancedkeyisoutside
ofthevehicleandextremelycloseto
adoorandwindow,however,always
starttheenginefromthedriver'sseat.
Ifthevehicleisstartedandthe

Request switch
advancedkeyisnotinthevehicle,
thevehiclewillnotrestartafteritis
shutoffandtheignitionswitchis
turnedtothelockposition.
Liftgate
Request switch
Iftheadvancedkeyisdetected
withinoperationalrange,the
operationindicatorlightflashes
momentarily.

Tolock
Tolockthedoorsandtheliftgate,press
therequestswitch.Abeepsoundwillbe
heardonceandthehazardwarninglights
willflashonce.
