Iftheairbag/frontseatbeltpretensionersystemisnormal,thewarninglightilluminates
whentheignitionswitchisturnedtotheONpositionoraftertheengineiscranked.Fora
specifiedperiodoftimeitgoesout.
Asystemmalfunctionisindicatedwhenthewarninglightconstantlyflashes,constantly
illuminatesordoesn'tilluminateatallwhentheignitionswitchisturnedtotheON
position.Ifanyoftheseoccur,consultanAuthorizedMazdaDealerassoonaspossible.
Thesystemmaynotworkinanaccident.
WARNING
Nevertamperwiththeairbag/pretensionersystemsandalwayshaveanAuthorized
MazdaDealerperformallservicingandrepairs:
Self-servicingortamperingwiththesystemsisdangerous.Anairbag/pretensioner
couldaccidentallyactivateorbecomedisabledcausingseriousinjuryordeath.
qAirBag/FrontSeatBeltPretensionerSystemWarningBeep
Ifamalfunctionisdetectedinboththeairbag/frontseatbeltpretensionersystemandthe
warninglight,awarningbeepsoundwillbeheardforabout1minute.Afterthat,theone-
minutebeepwillberepeatedevery30minutes.
HaveyourvehicleinspectedatanAuthorizedMazdaDealerassoonaspossible.
WARNING
Donotdrivethevehiclewiththeairbag/frontseatbeltpretensionersystemwarning
beepsounding:
Drivingthevehiclewiththeairbag/frontseatbeltpretensionersystemwarningbeep
soundingisdangerous.Inacollision,theairbagsandthefrontseatbeltpretensioner
systemwillnotdeployandthiscouldresultindeathorseriousinjury.
ContactanAuthorizedMazdaDealertohavethevehicleinspectedassoonaspossible.
