replacedafteranycollisionwhichcausedthemtodeployordamagethem.Onlya
trainedAuthorizedMazdaDealercanfullyevaluatethesesystemstoseethattheywill
workinanysubsequentaccident.Drivingwithanexpendedordamagedairbagor
pretensionerunitwillnotaffordyouthenecessaryprotectionintheeventofany
subsequentaccidentwhichcouldresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
Donotremoveinteriorairbagparts:
Removinganycomponentssuchasthefrontseats,frontdashboard,thesteeringwheel
orpartsonthefrontandrearwindowpillarsandalongtheroofedge,containingair
bagpartsorsensorsisdangerous.Thesepartscontainessentialairbagcomponents.
Theairbagcouldaccidentallyactivateandcauseseriousinjuries.Alwayshavean
AuthorizedMazdaDealerremovetheseparts.
Disposeoftheairbagproperly:
Improperdisposalofanairbagoravehiclewithliveairbagsinitcanbeextremely
dangerous.Unlessallsafetyproceduresarefollowed,injurycanresult.Askan
AuthorizedMazdaDealerhowtosafelydisposeofanairbagorhowtoscrapanair
bagequippedvehicle.
NOTE
Ifitbecomesnecessarytohavethecomponentsorwiringsystemforthesupplementary
restraintsystemmodifiedtoaccommodateapersonwithcertainmedicalconditionsin
accordancewithacertifiedphysician,contactanAuthorizedMazdaDealer,referto
“
CustomerAssistance(U.S.A.)”(page9-2).
