Forengine-offoperationofthe
moonroof,theswitchmustbepushed
firmlythroughoutmoonroofclosure
becausetheauto-closingfunctionwill
beinoperable.

Re-initializing
Ifthebatteryhadbeendisconnected
duringvehiclemaintenanceorforother
reasons,themoonroofmaynotfullyopen
orclose.Themoonroof'sjam-safe
qOpening/ClosingtheMoonroof
fromOutside
functiondoesnotfunctionwhilethe
moonroofisinitializing.Carryoutthe
followingproceduretoresumeoperation:
Themoonroofcanbeopenedorclosed
fromoutsidethevehicleafterthedoors
andtheliftgateareclosed.

TurntheignitionswitchtotheON
position.
WARNING

Pushtherearofthetiltswitch,to
partiallytiltopentherearofthe
moonroof.
Makesuretheopeningisclearbefore
closingthemoonroof:
Closingthemoonroofisdangerous.A
person'shands,head,orevenneck
couldbecaughtbythemoonroofand
resultinseriousinjuryorevendeath.
Thiswarningappliesespeciallyto
childrenandpets.
NOTE
Ifthere-initializationprocedureis
performedwhilethemoonroofisinthe
slideposition(partiallyopen)itcloses
beforethereartiltsopens.

RepeattheprocedureinStep2.The
rearofthemoonrooftiltsopentothe
fullyopenposition,thenclosesalittle.
