Towing
Avoidparkingonanincline,butifyoumust,followtheseinstructions:

Depressandholddownthebrakepedal.
Haveahelperputwheelblocksagainstthedownhillsideofallvehicleandtrailertires.
Thenreleasethebrakepedalslowlyuntiltheblocksbeartheload.
Ifthegradeisdownhill,turnthesteeringwheelsothatthefrontofthefronttiresface

thecurb.
Ifitisuphill,facetherearofthefronttiresagainstthecurb.

Firmlyapplytheparkingbrake.
ShiftthetransaxleintoP,andstoptheengine.
Torestartafterparkingonanincline:

WiththetransaxleinP,starttheengine.(Besuretodepressandholdthebrakepedal.)
Shiftintogear.
Releasetheparkingbrake(alsothefootbrake)andpullawayfromthewheelblocks.
Stop;applytheparkingbrakeandshiftintoP.

Haveahelperretrievethewheelblocks.
Fuelconsumption
Trailertowingcauseshigherfuelconsumption.
Maintenance
Ifyoutowatrailerfrequently,haveyourvehicleservicedasshowninScheduled
Maintenance(page8-3).
