ontheshortlegoftheAllenwrench
andturntheAllenwrench4times
counterclockwise.
Thegearunitsonbothsideshavetobe

unlockedtoreleasethedeckbeforeitis
raisedmanually.Becausethedeckisheavy,
twoadultsarerequiredtoraiseit.
Thefollowingdescribestheprocedurefor
l
thegearunitononeside.Performthe
procedureonbothsides.
2.
InserttheAllenwrenchintotheAllen
socketintheboltheadthatispointed
forwardofthegearunitlocatedunder
thedecklidasshowninthefigure.

Eyebolt
Deck
Gear unit
4.
DisconnecttheeyeboltfromtheAllen
wrenchleavingtheAllenwrenchin
place,andinsertthethreadedendof
theeyeboltintheholedirectlyabove
theAllensocketandtightenit
Bolt
clockwisetwofullturns.

NOTE
Eyebolt
Thegearunitsarelocatedunderneaththe
deck.

NOTE
TightentheeyeboltwiththeAllenwrench
inserted.TheAllenwrenchcanserveasa
referenceforinsertingtheeyeboltmoreeasily.

Removethebolt,whichisloosened
usingtheAllenwrench,byturningit
counterclockwise.
