Beforedriving,alwaysconfirmthatthepassengerairbagdeactivationswitchisinthe
appropriatepositionaccordingtoyourrequirements(page2-32).
WARNING
Donotleavethekeyinthepassengerairbagdeactivationswitch:
Unintentionaldeactivationofthepassengerairbagisdangerous.Inanaccident,the
passengerwillnotbeproperlyprotected.Seriousinjuriesorevendeathcouldoccur.
Toavoidunintentionaldeactivation,alwaysusethesamekeytooperatethe
passengerairbagdeactivationswitchandtheignitionswitch,thatwayyouwillnot
leavethekeyinthepassengerairbagdeactivationswitch.

Insertthekeyintothepassengerairbagdeactivationswitchandturnthekeyclockwise
untilthekeypointstoOFF.

Removethekey.
Makesuretheairbagdeactivationindicatorlightremainsilluminatedwhentheignition
isintheONposition.
Thepassengerfrontandsideairbagsandalsotheseatbeltpretensionersystemwillremain
deactivateduntilthepassengerairbagdeactivationswitchisturnedtotheONposition.
