TurntheignitionswitchfromtheACC
CAUTION
Whenleavingthevehicle,makesure
theignitionswitchisturnedtothe
LOCKposition.
positiontotheSTARTpositionand
hold(upto10secondsatatime)until
theenginestarts.
CAUTION
NOTE
Don'ttrythestarterformorethan10
secondsatatime.Iftheenginestalls
orfailstostart,wait10seconds
beforetryingagain.Otherwise,you
maydamagethestarteranddrain
thebattery.
Whenturningtheignitionswitchtothe
LOCKposition,theignitionswitchhasto
bepushedinfromtheACCpositionand
turned.Withoutbeingpushedin,the
ignitionswitchstopsattheACCposition
andthevehiclebatterymaybedischarged
iftheignitionswitchisleftintheACC
position.Whenleavingthevehicle,make
suretheignitionswitchisturnedtothe
LOCKposition.

TurntheignitionswitchfromtheON
positiontotheACCposition.
NOTE
Whentheengineisturnedoffandtheignition
switchitturnedfromtheACCpositiontothe
LOCKposition,theKEYindicatorlight
(green)flashesintheinstrumentclusterfor
about30secondsifthebatterypowerofthe
advancedkeyislow.Replacethebatterywitha
newone.
RefertoBatteryReplacement(page3-6).

PushinthestartknobfromtheACC
positionandturnittotheLOCK
position.
