Unlockadoorwiththekey.

Presstheunlockbuttononthekeyless

entrysystemtransmitter.
Insertthekeyintotheignitionswitch

andturnittotheONposition.
(Withadvancedkey)
l
Pressarequestswitchortheunlock
l
buttononthetransmitter.
TurnthestartknobtotheON
l
position.
Alabelindicatingthatyourvehicleis
equippedwithaTheft-DeterrentSystemis
intheglovebox.
Thehazardwarninglightswillflashtwice
toindicatethatthesystemisturnedoff.
NOTE
Mazdarecommendsthatyouaffixittothe
lowerrearcornerofafrontdoorwindow.
Thetrunklidcanbeopenedwiththekeyorthe
transmitterevenwhenthesystemisarmed.The
alarmwillnotcomeonandthesystemwill
remainarmed.

Atriggeredalarmcanbeturnedoffby
anyoneofthefollowingmethods:
Unlockadoorwiththekey.
l
Openthetrunklidwiththekey.
l
Presstheunlockbuttonorpressand
l
holdthetrunkbuttononthekeyless
entrysystemtransmitter.

l
Pressarequestswitch.
l
Presstheunlockbuttonorpressand
l
holdthetrunkbuttononthe
transmitter.
NOTE
Ifyouhaveanyproblemwiththetheft-
deterrentsystem,consultanAuthorizedMazda
