Tochangetheseatbackangle,lean
forwardslightlywhileraisingthelever.
Thenleanbacktothedesiredpositionand
releasethelever.
Ifyourvehicleisequippedwithfront
passengerseatweightsensors,
sittinginthefrontpassengerseat
improperlyoutofpositionorwiththe
seatbackreclinedtoofarwhilethe
vehicleismovingisdangerousasit
cantakeoffweightfromtheseat
bottomandaffecttheweight
determinationofthefrontpassenger
sensingsystem.Asaresultthefront
passengerwillnothavethe
supplementaryprotectionoftheair
bagandseatbeltpretensioner,which
couldcauseresultinseriousinjury.
Alwayssituprightagainstyour
seatback,withyourfeetonthefloor.
Makesuretheleverreturnstoitsoriginal
positionandtheseatbackislockedin
placebyattemptingtopushitforwardand
backward.
