Replacingthefusesunderthehood
3. IfanyfusebuttheMAINfuseis
blown,replaceitwithanewoneofthe
sameamperagerating.
Iftheheadlightsorotherelectrical
componentsdonotworkandthefusesin
thecabinarenormal,inspectthefuse
blockunderthehood.Ifafuseisblown,it
mustbereplaced.Followthesesteps:

Turnofftheignitionswitchandall
otherswitches.
Removethefuseblockcover.
Next to air filter

WARNING
Donotreplacethemainfuseby
yourself.HaveanAuthorizedMazda
Dealerperformthereplacement:
Replacingthefusebyyourselfis
dangerousbecausetheMAINfuseis
ahighcurrentfuse.Incorrect
replacementcouldcauseanelectrical
shockorashortcircuitresultingina
fire.
Near battery
NOTE
Verifythattheenginecoverissecurely
installed.
Engine cover
Battery cover
NOTE
Removetheengineandbatterycoversbefore
removingthefuseblockcovernearthebattery.
