plainwaterinthereservoir:
Usingradiatorantifreezeaswasher
fluidisdangerous.Ifsprayedonthe
windshield,itwilldirtythe
windshield,affectyourvisibility,and
couldresultinanaccident.
Turnthewipersonbypullingthelever
down.
Donotusethewasherwithoutfirst
warmingthewindshieldandneveruse
plaintapwater:
INT―Intermittent
1―Lowspeed
2―Highspeed
Usingwindshieldwasherfluid
withoutanti-freezeprotectionin
freezingtemperaturesisdangerous.
Thewasherfluidcouldfreezeonthe
windshieldandblockyourvision.You
couldhaveanaccident.
Forasinglewipingcycle,pushthelever
uptoMIST.

Variable-speedintermittentwipers
SetthelevertoINTandchoosethe
intervaltimingbyrotatingthering.
NOTE
Becauseheavyiceandsnowcanjamthewiper
blades,thewipermotorisprotectedfrom
motorbreakdown,overheatingandpossible
firebyacircuitbreaker.Thismechanismwill
automaticallystopoperationoftheblades,but
onlyforabout5minutes.
Ifthishappens,turnoffthewiperswitchand
parkofftheright-of-way,andremovethesnow
andice.
After5minutes,turnontheswitchandthe
bladesshouldoperatenormally.Iftheydon't
resumefunctioning,consultanAuthorized
MazdaDealerassoonaspossible.Driveto
thesideoftheroadandparkofftheright-of-
way.Waituntiltheweatherclearsbeforetrying
todrivewiththewipersinoperative.
