frontusestheshoulderbeltoverthe
shoulder.
NEVERputarear-facingchild-restraint
systemonthefrontpassengerseat,even
withaseatweightsensorequipped
vehicle.
Thisseatisalsonotsetupfortethered
child-restraintsystems,puttheminoneof
therearseatpositionssetupwithtether
anchors.
LikewisetheLATCHchild-restraint
systemcannotbesecuredinthefront
passenger'sseatandshouldbeusedinthe
rearseat.
Alwaysattachthetetherstraptothe
correcttetheranchorposition:
Attachingthetetherstraptothe
incorrecttetheranchorpositionis
dangerous.Inacollision,thetether
strapcouldcomeoffandloosenthe
child-restraintsystem.Ifthechild-
restraintsystemmovesitcouldresult
indeathorinjurytothechild.
Don'tallowanyonetosleepagainstthe
sidewindowifyouhaveanoptionalside
andcurtainairbag,itcouldcauseserious
injuriestoanoutofpositionoccupant.As
childrenmoreoftensleepincars,itis
bettertoputthemintherearseat.If
installingthechild-restraintsystemonthe
frontseatisunavoidable,followthese
instructionswhenusingafront-facing
child-restraintsysteminthefront
passenger'sseat.
