Key Fob
TheKeyFoboperatestheignitionswitch.Italsocontains
the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter and an
emergencykey,whichstoresintherearoftheKeyFob.      2
NOTE: IfyourvehicleisequippedwithPassiveEntry/
Keyless Go (PEKG), the Key Fob will also contain a
special receiver that communicates with the vehicle.
Passive Entry/Keyless Go Key Fobs can only be used
withPassiveEntry/KeylessGoequippedvehicles.Non-
Passive Entry/Keyless Go Key Fobs can only be used
withNon-PassiveEntry/KeylessGovehicles.
WirelessIgnitionNode(WIN)
The emergency key allows for entry into the vehicle
shouldthebatteryinthevehicleortheRKEtransmitter
godead.Theemergencykeyisalsoforlockingtheglove
box. You can keep the emergency key with you when
valetparking.
