Normal (Fixed Speed) Cruise Control Mode
WARNING!
In addition to adaptive cruise control mode, a normal
(fixedspeed)cruisecontrolmodeisavailableforcruising
at fixed speeds. The Normal cruise control mode is
designedtomaintainasetcruisingspeedwithoutrequir-
ing the driver to operate the accelerator. Cruise control
canonlybeoperatedifthevehiclespeedisabove25mph
In the normal cruise control mode, the system will
notreacttovehiclesahead.Inaddition,theproximity
warning does not activate and no alarm will sound
even if you are too close to the vehicle ahead since
thepresenceofthevehicleaheadnorthevehicle-to-
vehicle distance is detected. Be sure to maintain a
safe distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
ahead.Alwaysbeawarewhichmodeisselected.

To change modes, press and hold the ON/OFF/MODE
buttonforatleastonesecondineithertheOFFstateor
the READY state. ЉNormal Cruise ReadyЉ will be dis-
playedoncethemodebecomesavailable.Toswitchback
to ACC, press and hold the ON/OFF/MODE button
againforatleastonesecond.
TosetaDesiredSpeed
Whenthevehiclereachesthespeeddesired,tapthelever
downandrelease(SET/DECEL).TheEVICwilldisplay
thesetspeed.
NOTE: You must observe the display when setting or
changingspeed,notthespeedometer.
