steeringcolumn)toactivateasinglewipecycletoclear
offroadmistorsprayfromapassingvehicle.Thewipers
willcontinuetooperateuntilyoureleasethemultifunc-
tionlever.
Sudden loss of visibility through the windshield
could lead to an accident. You might not see other
vehiclesorotherobstacles.Toavoidsuddenicingof
the windshield during freezing weather, warm the
windshield with the defroster before and during
windshieldwasheruse.
Windshield Washers
Tousethewasher,pushthemultifunctionleverinward
completely(towardthesteeringcolumn)andholditfor
aslongaswashersprayisdesired.
Headlights On With Wipers (Available  with
Automatic Headlights Only)
If you activate the washer while the windshield wiper  When this feature is active, the headlights will turn on
controlisinthedelayrange,thewiperswilloperatefor       approximately10secondsafterthewipersareturnedon
twowipecyclesafterreleasingtheleverandthenresume     iftheheadlightswitchisplacedintheAUTOposition.In
theintermittentintervalpreviouslyselected.
addition,theheadlightswillturnoffwhenthewipersare
turnedoffiftheywereturnedonbythisfeature.
Ifyouactivatethewasherwhilethewindshieldwiperis
turnedoff,thewiperswilloperateforthreewipecycles
andthenturnoff.
