UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR  VEHICLE
Setting the Following Distance in ACC
Tochangethedistancesetting,pushtheleverawayfrom
The specified following distance forACC can be set by  you(DISTANCE)andrelease.Eachtimethisisdone,the
varyingthedistancesettingbetweenlong,medium,and     distance setting adjusts between long,  medium, and
short.Usingthisdistancesettingandthevehiclespeed,
ACCcalculatesandsetsthedistancetothevehicleahead.
ThisdistancesettingdisplaysintheEVIC.

set speed. If a slower moving vehicle is detected in the
same lane, the EVIC displays the “Sensed Vehicle Indi-
cator” icon, and the system adjusts vehicle speed auto-
