Tightenthechildsafetyseattetherstrapaccordingtothe
manufacturer’sinstructions.
Ifthesafetyseatisnotanchoredproperly,theriskofachildbeing
injuredinacollisiongreatlyincreases.
Ifyourchildrestraintsystemisequippedwithatetherstrap,andthe
childrestraintmanufacturerrecommendsitsuse,Fordalsorecommends
itsuse.

Thebelt-positioningbooster(boosterseat)isusedtoimprovethefitof
thevehiclesafetybelt.Childrenoutgrowatypicalchildseat(e.g.,
convertibleortoddlerseat)whentheyweighabout40lb(18kg)andare
aroundfour(4)yearsofage.Consultyourchildsafetyseatownerguide
fortheweight,height,andagelimitsspecifictoyourchildsafetyseat.
Keepyourchildinthechildsafetyseatifitproperlyfitsthechild,
remainsappropriatefortheirweight,heightandageANDifproperly
securedtothevehicle.
