lotioninordertoavoidpossibledamagetotheinteriorpainted
surfaces.
Donotusehouseholdorglasscleanersasthesemaydamagethe
finishoftheinstrumentpanel,interiortrimandclusterlens.
WARNING:Donotusechemicalsolventsorstrongdetergents
whencleaningthesteeringwheelorinstrumentpaneltoavoid
contaminationoftheairbagsystem.
Ifastainingliquidlikecoffee/juicehasbeenspilledontheinstrument
paneloroninteriortrimsurfaces,cleanasfollows:

thoroughcleaning,useamildsoapandwatersolution.Ifthespotcannot
becompletelycleanedbythismethod,theareamaybecleanedusinga
commerciallyavailablecleaningproductdesignedforautomotive
interiors.
Wipeupspilledliquidusingaclean,white,cottoncloth.
Wipethesurfacewithadamp,clean,whitecottoncloth.Formore

Ifnecessary,applymoresoapandwatersolutionorcleaningproduct
toaclean,white,cottonclothandpresstheclothontothesoiled
area–allowthistosetatroomtemperaturefor30minutes.

Removethesoakedcloth,andifitisnotsoiledbadly,usethisclothto
cleantheareabyusingarubbingmotionfor60seconds.

Followingthis,wipeareadrywithaclean,white,cottoncloth.

RemovelightstainsandsoilwithMotorcraftProfessionalStrength
Carpet&UpholsteryCleaner(ZC-54).

Ifgreaseortarispresentonthematerial,spot-cleantheareafirst
withMotorcraftSpotandStainRemover(ZC-14).InCanada,use
MotorcraftMulti-PurposeCleaner(CXC-101).

Ifaringformsonthefabricafterspotcleaning,cleantheentirearea
immediately(butdonotoversaturate)ortheringwillset.
Donotusehouseholdcleaningproductsorglasscleaners,whichcan
stainanddiscolorthefabricandaffecttheflameretardantabilitiesof
theseatmaterials.
