applicableexhaustemissionstandards.Tomakesurethatthecatalytic
converterandotheremissioncontrolcomponentscontinuetowork

orotherdrygroundcover.Theemissionsystemheatsupthe
enginecompartmentandexhaustsystem,whichcanstartafire.
Illuminationoftheserviceenginesoon
indicator,chargingsystem
warninglightorthetemperaturewarninglight,fluidleaks,strangeodors,
smokeorlossofenginepowercouldindicatethattheemissioncontrol
systemisnotworkingproperly.
Animproperlyoperatingordamagedexhaustsystemmayallowexhaust
toenterthevehicle.Haveadamagedorimproperlyoperatingexhaust
systeminspectedandrepairedimmediately.
