intheinstrumentcluster
inthe

willilluminatetemporarilyduringstart-upaspartofanormalsystem
self-check,orduringdrivingifadrivingsituationcausesthe
AdvanceTracsystemtooperate.Ifthe“slidingcar”icon
illuminates
steadily,verifythattheAdvanceTracsystemisnotmanuallydisabledby
pressingtheAdvanceTracbuttonlocatedonthecenterstackofthe
instrumentpanel.Ifthe“slidingcar”icon
remainssteadily
illuminated,havethesystemservicedbyanauthorizeddealer
immediately.Ifequippedwithamessagecenter,thevehiclewillalso
indicateafailurewiththeAdvanceTracsystem.

Avibrationinthepedalwhenyourfootisonthebrakepedal
Ifthedrivingconditionissevereandyourfootisnotonthebrake,the
brakepedalmaymoveasthesystemsapplieshigherbrakeforces.You
mayalsohearawhooshofairfromundertheinstrumentpanelduring
thisseverecondition.

TractionControlSystem(TCS)
Tractioncontrolisadriveraidfeaturethathelpsyourvehiclemaintain
tractionofthewheels,typicallywhendrivingonslipperyand/orhilly
roadsurfaces,bydetectingandcontrollingwheelspin.
Excessivewheelspiniscontrolledintwoways,whichmaywork
separatelyorintandem,enginetractioncontrolandbraketraction
control.Enginetractioncontrolworkstolimitdrive-wheelspinby
