MOON ROOF (IF EQUIPPED)
Youcanmovetheglasspanelofthemoonroofbacktoopenortiltupto
ventilatethevehicle.
WARNING:Donotletchildrenplaywiththemoonrooforleave
childrenunattendedinthevehicle.Theymayseriouslyhurt
themselves.
Themoonroofisequippedwithanautomatic,one-touch,express
openingandclosingfeature.Tostopmotionatanytimeduringthe
one-touchoperation,pressthecontrolasecondtime.
Note:Themoonroofwillopentothe“comfort”positionfirstbefore
openingalltheway.The“comfort”positionhelpstoalleviaterumbling
windnoisewhichmayhappeninthevehiclewiththerooffullyopened.
Toopenthemoonroof:Pressand
releasetheSLIDEcontrol.The
moonroofwillopentothe
“comfort”position.Pressandrelease
thecontrolagaintofullyopen.
Presstheswitchagaintostopthe
moonroof.
WARNING:Whenclosingthemoonroof,youshouldverifythat
itisfreeofobstructionsandensurethatchildrenand/orpetsare
notintheproximityofthemoonroofopening.
Toclosethemoonroof:PullandreleasetheSLIDEcontrol,themoon
roofwillcloseautomatically.Presstheswitchagaintostopthemoon
roof.
Bounce-back:Whenanobstaclehasbeendetectedinthemoonroof
openingasthemoonroofisclosing,themoonroofwillautomatically
openandstopataprescribedposition.
Bounce-backoverride:Tooverridebounce-backfunction,pullandhold
theSLIDEswitchwithintwosecondsofabounce-backevent.The
closingforcewillbegintoincreaseeachtimethemoonroofisclosedfor
thefirstthreeclosingcycles,withbounce-backactive.Forexample:
Bounce-backcanbeusedtoovercometheresistanceoficeonthemoon
rooforseals
