Positionthedriver’ssidefloormatwiththerearofthematagainstleft
(outboard)frontedgeofseattrackmountingbracket.

Useascrewdrivertoscrewlocatorpostintovehiclecarpeting.Exert
pressurewhileturningtopiercethecarpeting.
Wheninstalledproperly,thelocatorwillnotscrewdowntightly,butwill
rotatefreely.
UseonlyFordoriginalEquipmentfloormats.Donotstackmultiplefloor
matsovertheFordoriginalequipmentfloormatsastheyarenot
positivelyretained.
REAR LIFTGATE
Theliftgateareaisonlyintendedforcargo,notpassengers.Youcanopen
andclosetheliftgatefromoutsidethevehicle.Itcannotbeopenedfrom
insidethecargoarea.

Toopentheliftgatewindow,
unlocktheliftgate(withthekey
orpowerdoorlocks)andpush
thekeylockcylinder.
•
Toopentheliftgate,unlockthe
liftgateandpulluponthehandle
underthelicenseplatelamp
shield.
Tolocktheliftgateandtheliftgate
window,usethekeyorthepower
doorlocks,depressthekeylockcylinderorpressthedoorlockswitch
ontheleftsideofthecargoarea.
Theliftgatedoorandwindowshouldbeclosedbeforedrivingyour
vehicle.Ifnot,possibledamagemayoccurtotheliftgatedoorlift
cylindersandattachinghardware.
