Iftheenginecoolanthasnotbeencheckedattherecommendedinterval,
theenginecoolantreservoirmaybecomeempty.Ifthisoccurs,add
enginecoolanttothereservoir.Formoreinformationonenginecoolant

Automotivefluidsarenotinterchangeable;donotuseenginecoolant,
antifreezeorwindshieldwasherfluidoutsideofitsspecifiedfunctionand
vehiclelocation.
Adding engine coolant
Donotputenginecoolantinthecontainerforthewindshield
washerfluid.
Do not mix con vention al green coola nt, or ange coola nt or
recycle d coola nts toge the r in you r vehicle . Use on ly the type of
coola nt tha t you r vehicle was or igin ally equ ippe d wit h. If you are
unsu re which type of coola nt you r vehicle requ ir es, con tact you r
loca l de aler.
Ifsprayedonthewindshield,enginecoolantcouldmakeitdifficulttosee
throughthewindshield.
Whentheengineiscool,adda50/50mixtureofenginecoolantand
watertotheenginecoolantreservoir-DONOTADDDIRECTLYTOTHE
RADIATOR.Addstraightwateronlyinanemergency,butyoushould
replaceitwitha50/50mixtureofcoolantanddistilledwaterassoonas
possible.
Checkthecoolantlevelinthecoolantreservoirthenextfewtimesyou
drivethevehicle.Ifnecessary,addenoughofa50/50mixtureofcoolant
andwatertobringtheliquidleveltothefilllineonthereservoir.
Neverremovethecoolantreservoircapwhiletheengineis
runningorhot.
