Replacing lost transmitters
Takeallyourvehicle’stransmitters
toyourdealerifserviceisrequired.
Ifyoupurchaseadditional
transmitters(uptofourmaybe
programmed),performthefollowing
procedure:
Toreprogramthetransmitters
yourself,placethekeyinthe
ignitionandturnfromOFFtoON
eighttimesinrapidsuccession
(within10seconds)endinginON.Afterdoorslock/unlock,pressany
controlonalltransmitters(uptofour).Whencompleted,turnthe
ignitiontoOFF.Thedoorswilllock/unlockonelasttimetoconfirm
completionofprogrammode.
Alltransmittersmustbeprogrammedatthesametime.
Illuminated entry
Theinteriorlampsilluminatewhentheremoteentrysystemisusedto
unlockthedoor(s)orsoundthepersonalalarm.
Thesystemautomaticallyturnsoffafter25secondsorwhentheignition
isturnedtotheRUNorACCposition.Thedomelampcontrol(if
equipped)must not besettotheOFFpositionfortheilluminatedentry
systemtooperate.
Theinsidelightswillnotturnoffif:

anydoorisopen.
Thebatterysaverwillshutofftheinteriorlamps40minutesafterthe
ignitionhasbeenturnedtotheOFFposition.
