Replacing headlamp bulbs
Handleahalogenheadlampbulbcarefullyandkeepoutof
children’sreach.Graspthebulbonlybyitsplasticbaseanddo
nottouchtheglass.Theoilfromyourhandcouldcausethebulbto
breakthenexttimetheheadlampsareoperated.
If the bulb is acciden tally tou ched, it shou ld be clea ned with rubbin g
alcohol before bein g used.
Toremovetheheadlampbulb:
1.
Makesureheadlampswitchisin
OFFposition,thenlifthoodand
openthehingedheadlampcover.
2.
Releaseclipanddisconnectthe
electricalconnectorfromthebulb.
3.
Removethebulbretainingringby
rotatingitcounterclockwise(when
viewedfromtherear)about1/8
turntofreeitfromthebulbsocket,
andslidetheringofftheplastic
base.Keeptheringtoretainthe
newbulb.
4.
Removetheoldbulbfromthelampassemblybygentlypullingit
straightbackoutofthelampassembly.
